楊立岩教授現任多倫多大學羅特曼商學院金融學教授、Peter L. Mitchelson/SIT Investment講席教授。

楊立岩教授的研究領域為金融市場、資產定價和行為金融。楊教授擔任經濟理論、金融市場雜志和管理學雜志副主編。他現任Journal of Finance, Journal of Economic Theory, Management Science, Journal of Financial Markets 和Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control的副主編。他的學術成果發表在眾多國際學術期刊，如Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Financial Economics,  Journal of Finance和Review of Financial Studies等。

楊立岩教授因其卓越的研究榮獲諸多獎項，如2016年度JFQA William F. Sharpe Award、2016年加拿大中央銀行行長獎、2015年Roger Martin 獎等。

楊立岩教授於2010年獲得康奈爾大學經濟學博士學位。
